Boomerang is a Cardiff based charity that does a massive amount of essential work helping out the vulnerable people of the local area who've found themselves struggling with homelessness and a load of other important community based projects too.
They helped us out massively during everything that went down over the past few months and offered us refuge and the opportunity to recover and rebuild.
The car park for the estate that we're operating from will soon be transformed into a big container village full of independent businesses and different projects helping the local community. We back them fully and we're beyond proud that our presence is going to help by bringing more of you lovely lot down to the area!
- 2x Workshops for training courses and back to work initiatives getting people back into work
- 2x Community shops gifted free to charities/community groups on a 30day rolling basis to raise funds for their own charities/causes
- 3x Retail spaces for small start-up business
- 1x Community Café that will service the local area with surplus food being handed back out to small community groups that feed the homeless on our streets at night.
- 2x Storage containers to support our Homeless to Home and various furniture projects with a potential of using one of these storage containers for a revolutionary mattress cleaning machine
- Surrounded by a ‘green wall’ to combat roadside emissions
